Update: Anticipated settlement with Ford delayed

The anticipated settlement of a multi-billion suit against Ford was delayed Monday in Sacramento Superior Court for unspecified reasons. A courthouse spokeswoman said she was awaiting word when the case would resume. One of the lawyers involved in the litigation said they would return on Dec. 3, according to the Sacramento Bee. Meanwhile, authorities are picking up the pieces of a tragic accident in Central California on Saturday in which a Ford Explorer toppled over and killed seven people.
